Apple may decide to implement mini LED display technology in the next goods, and the corporation may even consider producing an OLED MacBook in the not-too-distant future. According to the projections of a well-known expert in the industry, a laptop equipped with this technology may make its debut on the market as early as 2019.

It should not come as a surprise that Apple is familiar with OLED. Since the release of the iPhone X, all of Apple's subsequent iPhone models have come equipped with an OLED display as standard, and it is speculated that the firm may also use the same technology in the iPad Pro. Despite this, there would be a considerable number of extra benefits to adding the requirement that it be run on a MacBook.

In a recent tweet, an industry analyst by the name of Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that if Apple moved to OLED panels, the firm might make its MacBooks even more svelte. It is possible that Apple would consider developing a folding MacBook design similar to the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold (2022 model) that was on display at IFA in September of the previous year.

As it turns out, rumours that Apple is working on a folding version of the MacBook are not new. According to a report from December of the previous year, the corporation based in Cupertino had been looking into the feasibility of a foldable 20-inch design. It should come as no surprise that OLED technology is necessary for this to function.

According to Kuo, the release of an ultra-thin MacBook, either a future Apple MacBook Air or a thinner MacBook Pro, is more likely to take place in the year 2024. On the other hand, he admits that it won't be made available until "at the earliest" the end of the year. [Citation needed]

When it comes to Mini LED screens, it's probable that Apple may give integration into its desktop displays a higher priority than it has in the past. For instance, it has been reported that the first Mini LED monitor from the firm will be released later on in this year.
