Razer and Verizon collaborated to release the Razer Edge in the US on January 26. If you don’t like Verizon or mobile gaming, you may get a device that just supports Wi-Fi.

Verizon offers the second option. For a limited time, you can get it for $360 (or $10 per month for 36 months) with a new contract. The regular price is $600. The Razer Edge 5G costs $180 ($5 per month for 36 months) with a new 5G smartphone. Expanded explanation below.
Razer Edge buyers get a free Kishi V2 Pro controller. It can be disconnected, making it look like a phone, however, we doubt it can perform phone functions.
Snapdragon G3x Gen 1, a Snapdragon 888 derivative, powers the Razer Edge. The console's active cooling technology lets it run faster than a phone for longer. 128 gigabytes of UFS 3.1 storage and 8 gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM are added to the CPU (expandable with microSD cards up to 2TB).
The Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch can't match this gadget's 6.8-inch AMOLED screen's 2,400 x 1,080px (20:9) resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The Switch OLED and Steam Deck have 7-inch panels with 720p resolution and 60 fps frame rates. Touch sample rate is not mentioned.
Razer Edge has Wi-Fi 6E. This helps with game streaming services and streaming from your gaming PC or console. Emulating games on a pure Android handset is possible thanks to the chipset. Verizon supports sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G networks. 6GHz Wi-Fi and 5G connections have a few millisecond latency.
3.5mm headphones and Bluetooth 5.2 are on the controller. THX Spatial Audio speakers and microphones allow two-way communication without a headset. A 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 1080p at 60 fps is also included.
Despite the 5,000 mAh battery size, charging times are not provided. The gadget weighs 264 grammes, but with the controller, it weighs 5401 grams.
