This year, Samsung has aggressively introduced several smartphones, each with a unique set of features. Currently, it's anticipated that the smartphone manufacturer will introduce the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A74 in the first half of 2023. According to current rumors, one of the two devices would reportedly be powered by a mid-range Exynos series CPU that has already registered its existence on certification portals.

The Bluetooth SIG database lists the Exynos 1330 and Exynos 1380 SoCs from Samsung. Although the Exynos 1330 SoC is brand-new, we have previously heard about the Exynos 1380 CPU. According to information provided by the certification website, an additional RF chip known as the Samsung Bluetooth Controller v6 will be included with both Exynos chipsets to enable Bluetooth 5.3. The Samsung Galaxy A, F, and M series devices will feature these processors.

Processor Exynos 1330 and Exynos 1380 characteristics that have been leaked

  • The Exynos 1330 and Exynos 1380 are rumored to support Bluetooth 5.3 via a separate RF chip known as the Samsung Bluetooth Controller v6.
  • The Exynos 1380 will likely include the Mali-G615 of GPU and at least two high-performance ARM Cortex-A series CPU cores.
  • Additionally, it will enable mmWave and sub-6GHz communication and include an inbuilt 5G modem.
  • Until now, no more information on the Exynos 1330 has leaked. However, compared to the Exynos 850 or Exynos 880 CPUs, it is anticipated to ship with better cameras, quicker speed, and longer battery life.

Details about Samsung's Exynos 1330 and Exynos 1380

For faster performance than the Exynos 1280, the Exynos 1380 processor can have two high-performance ARM Cortex-A series CPU cores and the Mali-G615 graphics processing unit (GPU). Furthermore, the SoC could feature a fully integrated 5G modem with mmWave compatibility and a sub-6GHz connection. The Samsung Galaxy A34 And Galaxy A54 are anticipated to include the Exynos 1380 chipset, similar to how the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53 previously did with the Exynos 1280. The forthcoming Samsung Exynos 1330 CPU is subject to a lack of information. Though we are still dubious, there is a reasonable probability that it will feature the Exynos 880 or 850 CPU from Samsung. Additionally, it is reported that Samsung's future mid-range smartphones would emphasize improved cameras, powerful performance, and longer battery life.
