Schenker has presented the world's lightest 16-inch gaming laptops. They may even be referred to as gaming ultrabooks.
Vision 16 and Vision 16 Pro are the two models. There is a slight difference between them, but the cases are identical. Thus the thickness is the same—17.1 mm. 1.4 to 1.6 kg in weight, depending on setup. The 16-inch gaming Vision 16 is equivalent to several 14-inch models that don't provide discrete graphics cards in terms of thickness and weight.
Features & Specifications
The Schenker VISION 16 Pro offers some improvements over the VISION 16, most notably the use of the 95-watt (70-watt TGP + 25-watt Dynamic Boost 2.0) versions of the more potent GeForce GPUs RTX 3060, RTX 3070 Ti, and RTX 3080.
The VISION 16 Pro weighs 1.6 kg more than the VISION 16 because the GPUs need more significant heat sinks.
Additionally, the VISION 16 Pro has DDR5-4800 RAM instead of DDR4 RAM and a fast 240 Hz display (with 60 Hz energy saving mode) in addition to an IPS 16:10 resolution and 2,560 x 1,600 pixels.
A 180-watt power supply is included with every variant.
The Core i7-12700H, 2x 8GB DDR5-4800 RAM, the 500 GB Samsung 980 SSD, the 240 Hz WQXGA display, and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 are all included in the VISION 16 Pro, which starts at 1,849 euros with a three-year warranty.
The Schenker VISION 16 and VISION 16 Pro have full-size keyboards with big, separate arrow keys, a dedicated numeric keypad, and an Fn-Lock feature that permanently changes the F-keys' secondary mapping.
The keys can be fitted with a white backlight that can be adjusted for brightness and is supposed to have a notably silent stroke. With a gliding surface measuring 154 x 100 mm, the glass touchpad that complies with Microsoft Precision is very sizable.
The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti has a 395 euro surcharge, while the RTX 3080 has an 837 euro extra.
