Google knows how to remain in the prevailing rumors for every step the company takes. This time, several rumors are churning out for the upcoming products of 2023. It’s been a while since the tech leading company has been in the circulating news for the expected launch of its budget smartphone, Pixel 7a. As of now, Google Pixel 6a is considered the best budget-friendly option for a larger audience. But the tech brand is gearing up to bring more advanced features at lower prices as compared to its flagship models.

As per earlier reports, Google will release the Pixel 7a in the coming April or May. The brand could also launch it in May at its official annual developer conference (I/O). With each passing day, we get leaked news from multiple source renders, and for now, we found a blurry video clip revealing the confirmed refresh rate. In the blurred hands-on clip, the smartphone language is set to Vietnamese, indicating that it might be recorded in Vietnam. But this is just a supposition since we don’t know whether the tipster was from Vietnam or if it was intentional.

It is certainly not the first glance of Pixel 7a, and some more reliable sources unveiled its design a couple of months back. Unfortunately, the smartphone design doesn’t seem to live up to the fans’ expectations due to its heavy design resemblance with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The prominent bezels on the front panel are also a drawback unveiling its minimal attention to detail and lower prices.

According to the previous rumors, the upcoming Pixel phone will likely feature an FHD+ screen, dual camera rear sensors, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and 5W of wireless charging. One notable change is the camera sensors that will adopt Pixel 6’s primary sensors. It is expected to be available in two colors, White and Dark Gray. The affordable Pixel 7a would arrive with 152.4 x 72.9 x 9 mm measurements.

This current leaked video confirms that the screen panel of Pixel 7a has a 90Hz refresh rate and a Dual-SIM slot too. It comes with an upgrade for which the predecessor vanilla model got severe criticism due to its 60Hz refresh rate. It is one of the features upgrades fans are expecting from the upcoming inexpensive smartphone from the Pixel family. There’s nothing more the tipster has revealed about the vanilla handset, but we have our eyes on any news from the tech giant and will keep you updated.
