Samsung's mid-range devices upgrading to Android 13 and One UI 5

Samsung's flagship Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones are now receiving the One UI 5.0 upgrade based on Android 13. It seems that the corporation is now updating its mid-tier products as well. The new One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy A53, as reported by GalaxyClub, has begun rolling out. The update is reportedly being released in the Netherlands. It may take some time for the update to reach all users in that area since it is being sent out gradually.

According to the update, the upgrade is around 2GB in size and comes with firmware version A536BXXU4BVJG. It goes without saying that it comes packed with a lot of valuable goods, UI improvements, speed upgrades, and add-ons. However, perhaps shockingly, the security update still uses the "outdated" version from October 2022. Only a few Galaxy devices, like the Galaxy A53, are in the budget-friendly midrange, but they're still on track to get the Android 13 upgrade before 2023. The Galaxy A33 is also on Samsung's upgrade roadmap for this month, with the rest of the A-series phones getting the update in December. When it comes to functionality, the update brings the Android security patch for October, coupled with the One UI 5.0 custom user interface and the Android 13 operating system. Version 5.0 of One UI introduces a new user interface with improvements including an enhanced Color Palette, a better look for notifications, and a more streamlined arrangement of options in the Settings menu. All of Samsung's installed applications have been upgraded with new features and an enhanced user interface. There are enhancements to the phone's speed, security, and privacy that come with the upgrade.
