A well-renowned Chinese company launches a couple of smartphones each year to survive in the ever-expanding tech industry. The upcoming Huawei P50 Pocket S got its approval back in August of the current year from China’s TENAA telecom authority. The clamshell foldable phone is soon to be released in the company's hometown on the 2nd of November at the launch event. As the name suggests, P50 Pocket S is an updated version of its predecessor model P50 Pocket. The multinational firm hasn't officially unveiled any details of its features. However, Huawei shared a teaser video of the flagship phone yesterday. The provided video is all about its design and primarily its vibrant colors. Even though the video doesn’t reveal much, leak renders have shared some significant specifications and predictions.
From the official short video clip, the design doesn’t have any alteration or upgrade from the previous model, launched in December 2021. Some leak renders revealed that the display screen has a 6.9- inch Foldable OLED with an 1188 x 2790-pixel resolution. It is said to have a refresh rate of 120Hz. It would probably come with a multi-touch with a cover OLED display of 1.04 with 340 x 340-pixel resolutions.
The upcoming smartphone has three cameras as shown in the video. The main camera may come with a 40MP, the second camera of 13MP with ultrawide angle, and the last camera 32 MP (wide). Besides these three cameras, the latest model has a flashlight on the island. The other rounded black module screen obtains display and lets you be aware of further notifications when the device is folded.
With the leaked video, the awaiting consumers get to know that the device will arrive in blue, pink, white, green, and yellow colors. While some predictions are swirling about the launch with black and white colors.
The smartphone will have a 4000mAh battery with 40W of powerful charging. According to the prevailing rumors about the battery life of the phone says that it will supposedly stay up for a whole day.
The Managing Director, Yu Chengdong shared that Huawei Pocket S is a product of their ultimate efforts to bring advanced technology along with pleasing looks through incorporating innovative and better features.
Amid the circulating rumors, another specification is roaming that P50 Pocket S will likely come with a Snapdragon 778G 4G processor and a Snapdragon 8+ 4G processor version to enhance the performance and user experience. The latest vertically foldable device is also rumored to arrive with Harmony OS 3.
The global launch is yet to be revealed by the authorities. However, even the information about the availability isn't certain but we expect it to be launched around the globe in the coming year. The flagship smartphone is expected to be a budget-friendly option where the 256GB model of the Huawei Pocket S may be accessible for a sum of $689. While the 512GB storage would approximately cost $965 for an upgrade storage feature.
