Samsung Galaxy A14, a 5G smartphone recently emerged on the Geekbench listings and revealed some key specifications. The smartphone was in the prevailing tech news due to an anticipated processor which was said to be the affordable Samsung chipset, Exynos. The leaked renders then claimed that it would be Exynos 1330.
Nonetheless, Galaxy A14 popped up again on the Geekbench listing with reliable information. The certification website dismisses all the rumors while revealing that the budget-friendly 5G smartphone will be powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor.
The model number of Galaxy A14 in the certification listing is SM-A146P. The results are pretty underwhelming with 522 for single core and 1,710 for multiple cores. These disappointing results may be because of the indecision of the software in the Galaxy A14.
The Geekbench does not reveal much about the mid-range smartphone but rumors are circulating about its speculated features and specs. Several leaks are prevailing that the smartphone would have triple camera sensors in a rectangular module. The smartphone battery capacity is said to be 5,000mAH with decent battery backup hours.
However, the current Geekbench data portrays that it will have an octa-core processor with 2 cores @ 2GHz6 and cores @ 2GHz. The Dimensity 700 chip is made on a 7nm chip with the Mali G57 GPU.
As far as the memory configuration is concerned, the Geekbench results shared that the device will likely arrive with a single memory configuration of 4 GB of RAM. Although, it seems as an affordable handset and people expect that the smartphone would have more internal storage configurations. It is unknown whether the device would have a micro SD card slot. As per the listings, Galaxy A14 is expected to run on the latest operating system of Android 13. For a moderate-range smartphone, it is impressive to run on an advanced OS.
The international launch of the Samsung Galaxy A14 would become certain when the leading company makes its device available in its hometown. As for now, things are not confirmed until any official statement comes about the availability, but tech geeks expect its launch in the first half of the coming year. Since it is a mid-range smartphone, it is expected to be available at $250 US dollars.
