Honor set a launch date of November 23 and later announced that the Magic Vs foldable would release on that date. George Zhao, the company's CEO, revealed in a video uploaded today on Weibo that the Honor 80 series will also be unveiled on Wednesday.

Display

The Honor 80 series will display curved edges, as evidenced by the official teasers. The top-center area has a cutout in the form of a pill. The screen's cutout is smaller than the Xiaomi Civi 2's twin selfie camera cutout. The Honor 70 lineup's design aesthetic is carried over to the back camera configuration. The remainder of the back is decorated with ripple-like patterns.

Design

Timmy Yip, a 58-year-old well-known Hong Kong artist, specializing in visual and modern art and costume design, unveiled the phone's plan. The Chinese model and actor Simon Gong, a member of the Honor family since the 50 series, is another famous influencer who advertised the gadgets on their page.

According to reports, three devices will be part of the Honor 80 series. According to rumors, the Honor 80 SE will enable 66W fast charging and have the Dimensity 1080 chipset. The Snapdragon 778G+ chipset and 66W quick charging capability are likely to be included in the Honor 80. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor is anticipated to be installed inside the Honor 80 Pro. It is expected that the flagship phone will enable 100W rapid charging.

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU is reportedly included in the Honor Magic Vs foldable phone. A 5,000mAh, two-cell battery with 66W rapid charging is anticipated to be within. Magic UI 7.0, based on Android 13 OS, may come preinstalled on the Honor 80 series and Magic Vs. It weighs less than the foldable Honor Magic V phone from last year and has a 14.3mm thickness. The remaining features of Magic V might be comparable to those of its predecessor.

Camera Details

Even while the two large circles that make up the Honor camera have been a part of the brand since it became independent, the number 8 embedded in the middle makes for the neatest implementation to date. We don't know anything about the series besides this collection of picture and video teasers.

The Honor 80 with a Dimensity 1080 chipset, the Honor 80 Pro with a 108MP camera and Snapdragon 778G processor, and the Honor 80 Pro with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, a 160 MP primary camera, and two 50MP selfie cameras are the three products that we anticipate.
